Hello Again my fellow Lip Ladies!

I want to keep mixing it up and giving my Lip Lady Divas some wonderful beauty tips so that you can feel sexy in the skin you’re in! In my opinion, the eyes are the windows to the soul, and there is nothing wrong with adding some curtains or drapes and letting the sunshine in!

So for fun this Friday, I’m sharing my tips for a super easy sexy smoldering summer look.

Don’t forget your SPF and drink PLENTY of water as it hydrates your skin and provides the best foundation for applying any makeup!

Tip:  Apply any SPF moisturizers, and foundation to your face, but avoid the eye lid area if you are not using an oil-free product. Oils will cause any shadow to crease and end up looking greasy. If you want to extend the wear of your look and avoid creases, start with an Eye Primer like NYX Eyeshadow base or bareMinerals Prime Time Eyelid Primer. If you’re in a hurry, this is optional.

Step-by Step Easy Summer Eyes

1. Start by applying a light colored beige shimmer shadow to the entire top half of your eye (on the brow bone) and just a touch on the bottom of your eye’s inner corner. Try Too Faced “Famous in a Small Town” in the Country Eyes pallete or NYX Baked shadow in SUPERNOVA Shimmery Beige

2. Then, apply a summery Coral or pink color to your eye lid and gently blend into the crease. I always say blend blend blend! Eye shadow brushes are a great and inexpensive investment to get a professional look. “Paper Roses” in the Too Faced Country Eyes palette is perfect, or you can find a pretty Ulta or NYX shade of pink or coral. Apply a tiny bit of coral along your bottom lashes as well.

3. For a more dramatic look, you can apply a dark bronze or brown shadow inside the outer crease of your eye and to the outer corner, but be sure to blend!

4. Finish draping this subtle summer look by apply a thin bit of eyeliner in a clean line on your top lid. The bottom is optional, so just lightly along the lash water line or just the outer corner. Something that glides on smooth and is water proof is ideal! I love Rimmel London Scandal Eyes waterproof kohl eyeliner, or Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner. A nice bit of brow liner or shadow on the brows will make your eyes pop! I use Smashbox Brow Tech To Go. Finish with waterproof mascara! I like Maybelline “Faslies” VolumExpress Flare Waterproof Mascara. 

Lip Ladies, that’s it! It’s really quite simple with a girly summery shade like a shimmery pink or coral and a bit of eyeliner. If you want to add some bronzer or coral or peachy blush, like NARS Multiple in Orgasm to your cheekbones, you’ll be looking fresh and ready for that summer BBQ or outdoor shopping trip!
