Life has a way of shifting us, stretching us, and reshaping everything we thought we had figured out. Since losing my mother in January of 2022, I have been navigating one of the most emotional and transformative seasons of my life. Grief is strange. It slows the world down while somehow making the years fly by. It is incredible how much time can pass when you are quietly trying to reinvent your life and rebuild your identity.
In the middle of that healing, I moved to Dallas for a fresh start. And now, I have been traveling through Colombia, reconnecting with myself through culture, adventure, spiritual growth, and joy in unexpected places. Through all of these shifts, one thing kept calling me back with purpose and love. LipLadyFab.
I started LipLadyFab because living with Lipedema changes you, and it can be so incredibly lonely when you do not know what you are dealing with. So many of us grew up being told that we were just “fat” or that if we tried harder, our bodies would magically shrink. We blamed ourselves for what was actually a real medical condition. Lipedema affects our legs, our arms, our mobility, and our confidence. And when you do not have answers, it affects your spirit too.
This community was created so women with Lipedema could finally feel seen. So you could say, “I am not lazy. I am not failing. I am not just fat. I have Lipedema, and my body deserves compassion.” I wanted to create a home where we could learn to love our Lipedema legs, embrace our softness, honor our beauty, and feel fabulous in our skin without apology.
During my time away, the mission of LipLadyFab never left my heart. If anything, my healing journey made it even clearer. I wanted to come back with more intention, more softness, and more joy.
And speaking of life changing moments, I also published my first book on November 11 called LIMITLESS: Reclaim Your Power and Design a Limitless Legacy.
You can find it here: https://a.co/d/2Z7U2M0

Writing that book was part of my healing. It was part of reclaiming my voice after grief, after transition, after being stretched in ways I never expected. And it reminded me just how important it is to share our stories openly and without shame. The same transparency and courage I poured into my book is what I want to pour back into LipLadyFab.
As I continue traveling through Colombia and evolving in this beautiful season of growth, I feel inspired to bring this community back to life with fresh energy. Lipedema is a physical, emotional, and spiritual journey. We deserve spaces that honor all of it.
Which leads me to something important. I have been dreaming of hosting a LipLadyFab retreat in 2026. Imagine a fun, fabulous, joy-filled getaway designed for women with Lipedema. A place to connect, rest, learn, dance, dress up, laugh, travel, and feel seen and celebrated. A space where you do not have to hide your legs or explain your body. Where joy leads the way.
Before I start planning, I would love to hear from you. Has this community ever made you feel more confident or understood. And would you be interested in joining a Lipedema retreat in 2026.
Please leave a comment below and let me know. Your voice means everything, and I truly want to reconnect with each of you.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for your patience as I navigated the hardest season of my life. And thank you for allowing LipLadyFab to evolve and grow right along with us.
Here is to joy, reinvention, Lipedema awareness, and feeling fabulous together. 💕
